In this resource you will find guidance on prioritisation in tray task. This guidance goes through the purpose of an in tray like this, including why they’re used, how to ace them and things to avoid!
This document also provides an example prioritisation task for you to practice prior to the interview.
Please note: this resource does include a worked example of the answers but this order is without justification - this is because there is no set correct answers for a priorisation task - you only need to make informed and educated decisions and justify your answers clearly. Your answers may be different to the ones on the template - but this does not make them incorrect as long as you clearly and rationally justified your answers.
In this bundle, you will find resources to help support you in a teaching interview.
This includes:
5 pages of guidance on writing an amazing application supporting statement including 10 top tips and a letter template
3 sets of questions you are likely to be asked on a teaching interview including 50+ questions which may come up + another set of 45 questions which may come up on a teaching interview (note: there may be some duplication of questions)
guidance on a teaching prioritisation in tray task - this goes through the purpose of an in tray like this, including why they’re used, how to ace them and things to avoid!
a set of student panel questions and advice on how to ace student panels, a common activity on teaching interviews
guidance on interview visits and questions you should ask to find out information about your chosen school
3 pages of guidance on creating a great interview lesson
